Podcasts

Where can mothers listen to podcasts on breastfeeding and pumping?
One of the challenges of providing breastfeeding education is that breastfeeding supporters are often the only ones providing accurate information. In this digital age, these podcasts (which are like radio interviews) can be recommended to reinforce the accurate information you are giving. One more voice may be all that’s necessary to help mothers remember what they need to know to make breastfeeding or breast pumping work. If a mother’s computer has speakers, she can listen to these podcasts by simply clicking on them. The podcasts can also be downloaded to a mother’s MP3 device, for example an iPod, so she can listen to them in the car or while exercising.
